For Sportive People:

We suggest you go hiking on the Sentiers de l’Estrie which gathers mountain trails and more. One of the stops not to be missed is Kingsbury Marsh. You can even park your car and start your hike there. This allows you to begin and end your journey well while admiring nature.

For cross-country skiing enthusiasts, we invite you to meet at the Club de Ski de Fond Richmond-Melbourne. Don't like cross-country skiing? Then you may enjoy snowshoeing there! You will find more than 24 kilometers of marked trails. If these trails don't satisfy you, consider going to Saint-Denis-de-Brompton to the Les Fondeurs Cross-Country Ski Club or to Valcourt to the Val Plein-Air Cross-Country Ski Club.

Want to take a walk? The Parc Gouin urban forest awaits you in Richmond where you will discover a 2-kilometer loop trail with fitness stations, a puzzle game and much more!

For Epicureans:

Come and taste the delicious products of Gars de Saucisses. Maybe you've noticed them in the grocery store, whether you have or not, stopping by their store in the heart of Richmond is a must. You will be invited to choose from the 57 flavors of sausages and all the other local products that are sold at their store.

For those who are hungry, you will be spoiled for choice. For a good latte, visit Café du Couvent in Richmond, followed by dinner at La Desserte also in Richmond. We advise you to bring reusable bags with you, as you will find yourself obliged to leave with several pieces of their succulent desserts. Even if your bag is almost full, you may want to leave some room for pastries and desserts from La Shop Traiteur de Windsor. Take out another bag, which you can fill with microbrewery beers from L’Ardoise, Brasserie Cooperative in Richmond and the Confrérie Artisans Brasseurs de Windsor. Finally, why not make a stop to drop off and have dinner at the cozy L’Horloge Cassée restaurant in Richmond. You may meet the owners who will offer you a menu full of local products.

For the Curious:

Do you like to learn and discover? You will be served. The famous J. Armand Bombardier Museum of Ingenuity in Valcourt will teach you about snowmobiling and all the inventions made since then. Adults and children will have fun while acquiring new knowledge!

Right opposite the museum, discover the Yvonne L. Bombardier Cultural Center, which has been exhibiting works by regional artists since 1972.
